On their way back to Mainland, CHING and the SIX GROTESQUES clash with the disciples of the White Camel Clan. They become alert believing that the disciples must be plotting dark tricks in Mainland. The SIX GROTESQUES allow CHING to travel around on his own. CHING runs into WONG YUNG who, disguising as a beggar, makes fun of CHING. Led by YUNG to the casino, CHING meets the THREE YELLON DEMONS who wants to take him to the KAM PRINCE. CHING thus flees with YUNG. Synopsis

The 59 episodes long series is divided into three parts. This 1983 version is considered by many to be a classic television adaptation of the novel and features the breakthrough role of Barbara Yung, who played Huang Rong.
